Based in Port Alberni, serving Vancouver Island & Beyond

about Patricia

I’m an elopement and wedding photographer based in Port Alberni on beautiful Vancouver Island. I specialize in adventurous, fun and candid imagery, inspired by the rich colours and textures of nature. While I mostly focus on BC weddings and elopements, I am also passionate about small business branding and empowering women with outdoor and conceptual boudoir photography!

Capturing love stories and cherishing outdoor adventures, one click at a time

Growing up in Nanaimo and spending my entire life on beautiful Vancouver Island, I discovered my passion for photography as a teenager and quickly became captivated by it. Unsure of how to enter the industry, I relocated to Victoria to pursue Visual Arts at UVic. Shortly after, I captured my first weddings, and from that moment, I was hooked. Since graduating in 2014, telling love stories through my lens has been my full-time pursuit.

On the Meyers-Briggs personality scale, I’m an ENFP, embracing my total extrovert nature, building connections is something I thrive on. If it matters, I’m also a Leo girlie.

Presently, I reside in Port Alberni with my husband and our three charming parrots – a conure, a cockatiel, and a galah cockatoo. Taking advantage of the incredible outdoor recreation opportunities in the Alberni Valley, we immerse ourselves in nature whenever possible.

Explore Vancouver Island through my lens and join me on this journey of capturing love, nature, and the beautiful moments that unfold.

Beyond shooting weddings and outdoor pursuits, you’ll often find me lifting at the gym, watercolour painting, honing my embroidery skills, spending quality time with our parrots, and enjoying Netflix. Some of my favourite shows are The Office, Ru Paul’s Drag Race, and pretty much anything Disney or Studio Ghibli. And, truth be told, I’ve never made it through the first 10 minutes of the movie Up without bawling my eyes out.

Outdoor adventures is life

Most of my photography is deeply inspired by beautiful places, and the people who love to explore them. I spend a lot of my free time outdoors hiking, dual sport riding, out camping in the bush, or enjoying a good campfire. My husband and I are always trying to find new camp spots off the beaten track! I’ve got an ever growing list of island hikes I need to tick off my list.

If you are also an outdoor enthusiast, I am so down to tag along and document your adventure. Let’s go hiking!
